"Tolerance" A Sneaky Attack on Your Identity and More

Henry Makow
Monday, April 30, 2007

For centuries the Masonic central bankers who control Western society and culture have been pushing "tolerance." Why?

"The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" is a notorious "forgery" that uncannily explains our predicament. It says the Illuminati bankers want to "dislocate all collective forces which are still unwilling to submit to us." (Protocols, Section 5)

The four major collective forces are: Race, Religion, Family and Nation. They are the four pillars of our human identity.

How do you undermine them? Certainly a frontal attack would meet with spirited resistance. Instead you promote "tolerance" which destroys these collective forces by erasing the differences between them.

Thus you have ecumenicalism in religion, miscegenation in race, and regionalism (i.e. EU, NAU) in nation states. You destroy family by erasing gender differences.

At this stage, the Masonic bankers perceive Christian and Islamic nations as their principal adversary. But eventually all national, racial and religious identity will come under their gun.

"Tolerance" is applied selectively. We must tolerate what undermines these collective forces but have "zero tolerance" for efforts to resist or uphold them.

Thus Black rappers can trash Black females but Don Imus is fired for a passing remark. Zero tolerance for white heterosexual Christians.

Gay activists can plot the end of "hetero-normative" society but the EU censors Poland for "hate" because it doesn't allow public schools to promote homosexuality.

Boris Berezovsky, the Russian oligarch in London can publicly plot the violent overthrow of Vladimir Putin from his London exile, and use Muslim Chechen terrorists to kill Russian children at Beslan, but anyone else mistaken for a Muslim terrorist faces torture or death. Tolerance for Rothschild shills; zero tolerance for everyone else.

American Zionists can instigate a disastrous war in Iraq, but the EU declares illegal any scrutiny of the Jewish holocaust, which might deprive these Zionists of their impunity. Zero tolerance for Muslims and Christians.

"Tolerance" (and "human rights") are nothing but Orwellian doublespeak for the banker world government agenda. I am in favor of genuine tolerance but no one should tolerate the Satanic agenda of our money lenders.

OBM: While I don't agree with some of the examples this writer uses, I do agree with the foundational point. God destroyed the tower of Babel & divided mankind for good reason. My opinion of this is much to long for this post. Check OBM in the furure for more on this issue.

I will focus on one aspect of this agenda: the attempts by the American Psychological Association to suppress therapies that help homosexuals assume a heterosexual life.

In our "tolerant" world, homosexuals are tolerated unless they become heterosexuals again.

ZERO TOLERANCE FOR HETEROSEXUALS

In the one-race, one-religion, one-world government, we are to have one sex as well. The bankers are creating a homosexual society by blurring the line between masculine and feminine. (This uniformity is called "Diversity." )

In 1973 the Rockefellers had the American Psychological Association change the definition of homosexual from a disorder to a normal lifestyle choice. If you google "Rockefeller Foundation" and the APA, you will get about 500,000 links, indicative of how the bankers buy "scientists" and other "professionals" by the tonne.

Some psychologists protested this banker takeover. One was Ray Johnson,
who wrote that the APA "has been seized by political activists who have little regard for science or the democratic process. Since the seventies, the American Psychological Association has lobbied the government, filed court briefs, and engaged in and promoted boycotts on behalf of ..the ERA, unrestricted abortion (including abortion for
children without parental notification and consent), sex and racial-ethnic discrimination, and homosexual politics."

The APA is lobbying to have homosexuals declared "a protected minority." It engages in intimidation and propaganda. It threatened with boycotts "states whose citizens passed APA disapproved laws regarding homosexuality. It has supported efforts to introduce programs into the public schools to "reduce prejudice" aimed at so-called "gay, lesbian
and bisexual youth" or "prehomosexual" children." "American Psychology:
The Political Science"

Does this sound like "tolerance" to you? The APA is vehemently against "conversion therapy" because they can't have homosexuals reverting to heterosexuality. That implies something is wrong with homosexuality!

In 1979 the noted sex therapists Masters and Johnson published their findings that 72% of dissatisfied homosexuals who entered their program converted to satisfied heterosexuals, based on follow-up five years later. Immediately the APA attack hounds condemned their methodology and claimed the men weren't really homosexuals. The careers of the sex
therapists went into eclipse.

Only in a Masonic Communist system like our own is science determined by politics.

CONCLUSION

To understand our world, we must appreciate that we are frogs in a large pot, having our identities boiled and blended. Our culture -- the pot and the stove -- is largely a fraud.

The bankers want us to identify as consumers and producers only, and be amenable to guidance by their "experts", presumably members of the APA.

Let's resist by strengthening our identities: sexual, national, religious and racial, respecting but not deferring to others.

Cops Admit To Planting Marijuana on 92 Year Old Woman Killed in Botched Drug Raid

Harry R. Weber
Associated Press
Monday, April 30, 2007

ATLANTA — Two police officers pleaded guilty Thursday to manslaughter in the shooting death of a 92-year-old woman during a botched drug raid last fall. A third officer still faces charges.

Officer J.R. Smith told a state judge Thursday that he regretted what had happened.

"I'm sorry," the 35-year-old said, his voice barely audible. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter, violation of oath, criminal solicitation, making false statements and perjury, which was based on claims in a warrant.

Former Officer Gregg Junnier, 40, who retired from the Atlanta police in January, pleaded guilty to manslaughter, violation of oath, criminal solicitation and making false statements. Both men are expected to face more than 10 years in prison.

In a hearing later in federal court, both pleaded guilty to a single charge of conspiracy to violate a person's civil rights, resulting in death. Their state and federal sentences would run concurrently.

The charges followed a Nov. 21 "no-knock" drug raid on the home of Kathryn Johnston, 92. An informant had described buying drugs from a dealer there, police said. When the officers burst in without warning, Johnston fired at them, and they fired back, killing her.

Fulton County prosecutor Peter Johnson said that the officers involved in Johnston's death fired 39 shots, striking her five or six times, including a fatal blow to the chest.

He said Johnston fired only once through her door and didn't hit any of the officers. That means the officers who were wounded likely were hit by their own colleagues, he said.

Junnier and Smith, who is on administrative leave, had been charged in an indictment unsealed earlier Thursday with felony murder, violation of oath by a public officer, criminal solicitation, burglary, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and making false statements.

The third officer, Arthur Tesler, also on administrative leave, was charged with violation of oath by a public officer, making false statements and false imprisonment under color of legal process. His attorney, William McKenney, said Tesler expects to go to trial.

Tesler, 40, is "very relieved" not to face murder charges, McKenney said, "but we're concerned about the three charges."

Both men could have faced up to life in prison had they been convicted of murder. Instead, Junnier will face 10 years and one month and Smith 12 years and seven months. No sentencing date was immediately set, and the sentences are contingent on the men cooperating with the government.

The deadly drug raid had been set up after narcotics officers said an informant had claimed there was cocaine in the home.

When the plainclothes officers burst in without notice, police said, Johnston fired at them, and they fired back.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Yonette Sam-Buchanan said Thursday that although the officers found no drugs in Johnston's home, Smith planted three bags of marijuana in the home as part of a cover story.

The case raised serious questions about no-knock warrants and whether the officers followed proper procedures.

Atlanta Police Chief Richard Pennington asked the FBI to lead a multi-agency probe. He also announced policy changes to require the department to drug-test its nearly 1,800 officers and require top supervisors to sign off on narcotics operations and no-knock warrants.

To get the warrant, officers told a magistrate judge that an undercover informant had told them Johnston's home had surveillance cameras monitored carefully by a drug dealer named Sam.

After the shooting, a man claiming to be the informant told a television station that he had never purchased drugs there, leading Pennington to admit he was uncertain whether the suspected drug dealer actually existed.

The Rev. Markel Hutchins, a civil rights activist who serves as a spokesman for Johnston's family, said the family was satisfied with Thursday's developments.

"They have never sought vengeance. They have only sought justice," he said.

Hutchins said the family is considering civil action against the police department.

"I think what happened today makes it very clear that Ms. Johnston was violated, that her civil rights were violated," he said.

CAN'T GO HO AGAIN

By TATIANA DELIGIANNAKIS, LARRY CELONA and DAN MANGAN

NEWYORK POST

April 23, 2007 -- Several NYPD sergeants and officers were on the hot seat yesterday for calling four black female cops "nappy-headed ho's" during two separate roll calls - within days of shock jock Don Imus' firing for using the same racist slur on air.

The incidents, confirmed by an NYPD source yesterday, have already led to one sergeant being transferred from his precinct and stripped of supervisory duties, and another being ordered to answer questions about his conduct by departmental investigators.

"This language is unacceptable under any circumstances, and even more egregious when it comes from individuals in positions of authority," Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said.

The first incident occurred April 12 - the same day Imus was fired from his WFAN show - during evening roll call at the Queens Narcotics Division.

Detective Aretha Williams was looking for the sign-out book at the end of her shift.

"Don't give me no lip before I call you a nappy-headed ho," Sgt. Michael Cantatore, who is white, told Williams, according to the detective.

That comment "cut me to the core," said Williams yesterday. "I find it disrespectful, racist, sexist.

"It can't be tolerated," said the 15-year veteran, who broke down into tears during a press conference with 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement Who Care.

Cantatore is scheduled to retire today. An NYPD source said he would be interviewed tomorrow by Equal Opportunity Office investigators who are probing the women's complaints.

In another incident, on April 15, three black female officers - Tronnette Jackson, Maria Gomez and Karen Nelson - allegedly were singled out during a morning roll call in Brooklyn's 70th Precinct by Sgt. Carlos Mateo, who is Hispanic.

"Stand-up, ho's," Mateo said,
according to lawyer Bonita Zelman, who works with the Guardians Association, an advocacy group for minority officers.

Police Officer Ralph Montenez then chimed in, "They're not just ho's, they're nappy-headed ho's," according to Zelman.

The women did not respond during this exchange.

On Friday, according to a police source, Mateo was transferred out of the 70th Precinct to an undisclosed assignment and stripped of his supervisory duties.

The sergeant had already been on thin ice over problems handling his administrative work and now faces possible demotion, a police source said.

"He wasn't a mean-spirited guy," a source said. "He was just a little dopey."

Connie Fogal On The Corporate North American Union

Connie Fogal, the redoubtable leader of the Canadian Action Party, delivers a hard hitting and passionate warning to all who refuse to ... all » believe that our democracy is being usurped by an elite few and is being sold off, brick by brick, to the highest bidder. Our very own elected politicians are in collusion with powerful private corporate interests, working together behind closed doors to bring in the ‘Security and Prosperity Partnership’ by “stealth” – as one proponent of the agreement put it – without public knowledge or consultation. In this presentation, she argues that Canadian sovereignty is very much at stake and she urges us to become informed and to take action before we ignorantly surrender all of our freedoms and public services to foreign corporate rule.

'Hacker Boot Camp' teaches security tactics or Trains More Theives

Computer professionals learn to protect their firms' systems by finding out how to break into them.

By Miriam Hill
LAURENCE KESTERSON / Inquirer Staff Photographer

Instructor Steve Kalman teaches a class in Certified Ethical Hacking in Bushkills, Pa. Kalman covers a wide range of topics - from wireless hacking to evading honeypots, a decoy system set up to attract and catch hackers.

Trevian Mathis taps his computer keyboard just a few times to hack into Juggy Bank's customer accounts. Within minutes, he has checking, savings and credit-card numbers.
His maneuvers may look sneaky, but Mathis is on the side of justice.

He is learning to be an ethical hacker in a course offered by a Northeast Philadelphia company, Training Camp, which employs about 40 people and offers a variety of classes for computer professionals. Juggy Bank and its customers are fictional.

OBM: And you still believe your accounts, computer, and your life is safe like they told you!!!!! Its never been safe....now their teaching more people how to do it.

Training Camp calls its weeklong course "Hacker Boot Camp." Fueled by donuts, Oreos and fruit available in the break room, participants learn to protect their companies' computer systems.

They start by learning how to break into them.

"Want to create a fake record in a database? Want a $1 million account with your favorite bank? We can do that," instructor Steve Kalman said, urging Mathis and the six other students on to more phony crimes.

Most of the hacker deceptions taught in the five-day course at a Poconos resort are well-known and easy to find on Web sites.

But the students, who work for corporate information-technology departments, say learning these tricks helps them understand how hackers think and what makes systems vulnerable. And even though participants sign a statement saying they won't use their newfound knowledge to flee to the dark side, Training Camp avoids spreading information that might help real hackers.

"What we teach in this course are a lot of techniques that have long been patched and fixed because we're not trying to create a new generation of hackers," Kalman said.

Michael Trpkosh, a senior software engineer for Verizon Communications Inc. in Dallas, said the course immersed him in a fascinating world.

"I have a real passion," he said. "Some people like studying World War II. I like studying this."

He also said he believes an ethical-hacker certificate could help his career.

If he passes the test at the end of the week, he can call himself a "Certified Ethical Hacker," an educational program overseen by the International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants, a trade group. With incidents of stolen data regularly making headlines, the certification is in demand.

"It's pretty much a wide-open field out there," Trpkosh said. Besides, "you can only attack your kids' computer so many times before it gets old."

At boot camp, Trpkosh and other students get two computers each - a victim machine and an attack machine. From one, they attack the other.

Modern hackers want more than infamy. They want money.

Some hack into computer systems and hold data for ransom. They exploit new technologies to crack systems. The rise of the BlackBerry, for example, has led to "Blackjacking," or using hand-held devices to gain access to corporate or personal information.

Kalman, a bearded, bespectacled man, spends about half his time teaching. The other half of his life, as a consultant in "penetration testing and computerized forensics," keeps him up to speed in the classroom.

Penetration testing involves helping businesses identify vulnerabilities in their information-technology systems. Computerized forensics is a digital version of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. A recent case: Kalman helped determine that a will was probably fake because phrases in it closely resembled those often used by the document's biggest beneficiary and not by the deceased.

In the class, he covers a wide range of topics - from wireless hacking to evading honeypots (a decoy system set up to attract and catch hackers).

Boot campers don't wake up to morning runs or salute their instructors, but they do spend 12 to 14 hours a day in class. Kalman said he has occasionally arrived in the morning to find a student who has slept in the classroom building all night.

Kalman frequently throws out tips for breaking into systems. Writing in blue magic marker on a white board, he shows how putting a single quote mark in the password field on a log-in page can tell a hacker whether a site is vulnerable to a data-theft technique known as "SQL injection." SQL, often pronounced sequel, stands for "structured query language."

Kalman and his troops make hacking look easy. No one's financial information or trade secret seems safe.

But some companies guard this data better than others, Kalman said. He recently moved some money to the online bank ING because of what he considers its stellar security, which includes having users choose both an image and a phrase as passwords.

The course attracts people with a strong grasp of computer languages and techniques, but uneducated customers and employees often create the biggest risks.

"Users can be your worst enemy in a lot of cases," said Erich Melcher, a student who manages IT security for a large construction and engineering company.

People such as Melcher can patch vulnerabilities and keep an eye out for hackers, but an employee who simply tries to help by sharing a password can destroy all that.

So the ethical hackers soldier on, trying to educate those problems out of existence. As they work, phrases from the movie The Matrix, about a group of hackers trying to fight an evil cyber-intelligence, mysteriously appear on their computer screens.

"Wake up, ethical hacker," it reads. "The Matrix has you."

Black Megachurch Launches Most Ambitious Outreach Thrust

By Lillian Kwon
Christian Post Reporter
Thu, Apr. 12 2007 09:19 AM ET

Pastors often challenge churches with the question: Would the community notice if your church disappeared overnight? One megachurch pastor says his community would "definitely notice."

Over 20,000 people flood into Salem Baptist Church of Chicago every weekend. It's the largest African American church in the state. And beginning this month, the megachurch is closing its doors to dispatch the thousands of congregants to the streets.

“Church has become a football game that's never played. Imagine the frustration fans would feel if their favorite football team suits up for the game, goes into the huddle, gives the pre-game interview but never steps on the field to actually play,” said the Rev. Senator James T. Meeks in a statement. "Well that's the current routine of today's church. Members pack the pews, sing worship songs but never go into the streets to help the people God called on us to take care of such as the homeless, the sick, the hungry and the lonely."

Shaking off the routine of "church," Salem Baptist has kicked off Vision 2007 – a 26-week community outreach initiative will get churchgoers not just talking the Christian talk, but walking the walk. Instead of Saturday choir rehearsals, Salem congregants will head out for a 10 a.m. to noon day of service – outreach activities that range from feeding the hungry and conducting worship services in prisons to building houses and tutoring young students. Instead of Sunday school, church members will engage in "Service School," applying the Bible's command to serve in their local community.

"The people of Chicago can expect us on their block, in the streets, in the hospitals and the shelters," said Meeks, who is also a state senator.

Of course, congregants will still be hearing the Word every Sunday.

"Faith cometh by hearing," said Meeks.

The megapastor had prepared the congregation for the ambitious outreach through a series of sermons in March. The initiative launched on Apr. 7 and every Sunday, congregants will still be flooding in to hear the Gospel message, but until the end of September, they won't just be hearing the Word, they'll also be "doing" the Word.

Local residents, however, won't be surprised by the major outreach projects. Salem Baptist is already well-known in the area for its "highly active congregation," as Meeks described it.

Real Estate Corporation Century 21 even sells homes in the community by mentioning Salem Baptist Church in their advertising and how congregants are changing the neighborhood, noted Meeks.

While reaching outside church walls is nothing new for the Chicago congregation, Meeks hopes the 6-month initiative can serve as a prototype for other churches, and not just megachurches.

"I'm convinced that not many people are doing it (reaching out) on the magnitude at which I just described to you," Meeks told The Christian Post. "Churches have the responsibility to impact the community around them."

For Salem, serving the some 100 blocks in their local community doesn't end with just one initiative. Meeks hopes to double the effort or even triple it, depending on the number of people who come out of the outreach thrust impacted and willing to help.

"We're using Vision 2007 as an opportunity to close the church doors so we can go out and meet people right where they are."

Insurance Company Offers Discounts to Tracked Teens

Wired
Monday April 9, 2007

Big brother can help you save money on your car insurance. Parents who are willing to install a GPS device to track their teenage drivers will get discounted insurance rates.

The AIG Teen GPS Program is a trial program in Arizona, Illinois, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Washington, that tracks the speed limit and location of teenagers. If teens go too fast or too far, mommy and daddy will receive a text message or email letting them know.

Teenagers are more likely to die from a car accident than anything else, so insurers are trying anything to improve driving behaviors. For parents, installing a GPS provides some peace of mind, but the ill-will from teens will be substantial.

OBM: Please don't train your kids to be good little prisoners In the name of safety/security. Maybe Parents should try being with their kids & assuring that their kids are monitored by safe/accountable adults when they are away.....hummmm that how parents have been being parents for years. Oh...I'm sorry, that’s right YOUR TO BIZZY.

My son is years from being of driving age, but I would have to consider this even if I trust him. Since 1 in 8 teen drivers has an accident each year, it is hard not to at least consider every option. Would you do it if it reduced your premium substantially?

COINTELPRO: The FBI's War on Black America

Through a secret program called the Counter Intelligence Program (COINTELPRO), there was a concerted effort to subvert the will of the people to avoid the rise "of a black Messiah" that would mobilize the African-American community into a meaningful political force. This documentary establishes historical perspective on the measures initiated by J. Edgar Hoover and the FBI which aimed to discredit black political figures and forces of the late 1960's and early 1970's. Combining declassified documents, interviews, rare footage and exhaustive research, it investigates the government's role in the assassinations of Malcolm X, Fred Hampton, and Martin Luther King Jr. Were the murders the result of this concerted effort to avoid "a black Messiah"?

IMUS MUST BE FIRED

SEE VIDEO HERE
Click on video on the right side of the page to Play

Don Imus using derogatory words to describe anyone's physical appearance is as unintentionally comedic as The Juice searching for the real killers. Have you seen this man? The radio host of "Imus in the Morning" looks like he's been cryogenically frozen long enough to have been around to offer commentary when Moses parted the Red Sea.

So for him to call the Rutgers women's basketball team "nappy-headed hos," is not only appalling, but downright laughable when you consider the source.

Only there was nothing funny about Imus and his executive producer Bernard McGuirk taking turns calling the Rutgers women's basketball players "hos" on Imus' Thursday morning show.

McGuirk called them "hardcore hos," but Imus corrected him, calling the Scarlet Knights "nappy-headed hos." Then sports announcer Sid Rosenberg joined in the fun and said the Rutgers team looked exactly like the Toronto Raptors.

But, they weren't done: McGuirk kept things rolling by comparing the women's national championship game between Rutgers and Tennessee to the "Jigaboos vs. the Wannabees," which is in reference to a scene in Spike Lee's 1988 film "School Daze." Lee was actually trying to illustrate a serious point in the movie, but these clowns used it to joke about the difference in physical appearance between Rutgers and Tennessee. It was insulting to all female athletes, not just black women.

Friday morning, Imus apologized for the comments, but that apology isn't nearly enough.

Imus is somehow considered a legendary broadcaster, but all I see is a bigot with a microphone. There is nothing edgy, provocative or funny about calling PBS' Gwen Ifill, a black woman and respected political journalist, a "cleaning lady" or accusing Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of trying to act black. Imus said Clinton "will have cornrows and gold teeth before this fight" with Sen. Barack Obama is over.

Ha-ha.

The National Association of Black Journalists also released a statement on Friday condemning Imus for his remarks and calling for all journalists to boycott Imus' show. A strong start, but that's not enough, either.

Imus should be fired. He's been given a free pass for far too long.

The Real Face of The European Union (EU)

Most see the European Union of today as an inefficient conglomeration of states run by self-serving career politicians anxious to guarantee their survival by safely nesting in the EU's cocoon of endless bureaucracies. Many don't really see a threat at the moment. They believe that an integrated Europe makes sense; that it would prevent any chance of a third European war; that it is the modern, forward-thinking way to go.

NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH

The European Economic Community (EEC) began as a free-trade agreement in 1972. Today's European Union is well on its way to becoming a federal superstate, complete with one currency, one legal system, one military, one police force - even its own national anthem.

In this shocking new documentary featuring EU insiders and commentators, independent author Phillip Day covers the history and goals of the European Union, as well as the disturbing, irrevocable implications this new government has for every citizen. Whether the viewer is for or against participation, this film asks the troubling questions the mainstream media has refused to confront.

BE AWARE!!!! Overdraft fees are a money making scams of banks

Overdraft fees are a money making scam of banks.

Indeed, I do agree with writing a check and the bank covering it and saving the consumer of a NSF fee at the bank and one from the merchant. That is without a doubt looking out for the best interest of the consumer. Why are banks not responsible for creating awareness on how these fees are truly being assessed.

When a bank offers online banking it should mean online banking. Many Banks practice posting pending transactions to customers accounts and if a merchant has not batched out their machine within 1 to 4 days the pending transactions are removed from your account. When this happens your account balance increases and it looks like you have a larger balance. Low an behold, the merchant transaction that were removed from pending status on your checking account posts to your account flipping your account to a negative balance, if funds are not sufficient, and every other debit transaction greater than a cent after that will be assessed an overdraft fee. the bank replied by saying that the customer needs to keep track of their charges manually, which totally defeats the purpose of online banking. If the banks are looking out for the best interest of the consumer then they need to keep the pending transactions pending until they post to the account. Otherwise, the whole point of Online banking is defeated if the consumer has to manually keep track of their transactions. I think banks do not want this discussed for the money potential is much greater than hurting a consumers feeling and declining a transaction due to pending ones. The thing that is most disturbing is the bank doesn’t tell you that they remove the pending transaction after 24hours you have to pull it out of them. What’s the purpose of online banking if you have to keep tabs on your balance manually???

Trick #2

Some banks used two different balances, an available balance and actual balance. They would then lower the available balance by debit card transactions. Then if a check comes into the account they would return the check based on the AVAILABLE not the ACTUAL balance on the account.

Trick #3
They're now counting pending debit card transactions against the ledger(actuall) balance. Most banks recommend signing up for overdraft protection in the form of a savings account that autotransfers funds, for a $9 fee per month, or use a credit card. The nut in the shell is that some banks is predating funds before they clear(post) to generate additional overdraft fees.

Were Owned by The Corperations

Another Inconvenient Truth

by Robert C. Hinkley

Government in the liberal democracies of the developed world is based on an experiment undertaken in the last half of the 18th century. That experiment theorized that the public interest could be protected under a system of laws enacted by the vote of the people’s elected representatives.Under this system, people are free to do as they please as long as no law has been passed restricting their freedom. Laws are not passed restricting freedom until legal behaviour damages the public interest to the point where it makes another law necessary.

This system relies on the assumption that extensive harm cannot be done to the public interest before a law can be passed prohibiting the offensive behaviour. In the late 1700s this assumption may have been true. Today it is not. The modern corporation can legally do more damage to the public interest in one afternoon than a human being can do in a lifetime. Problems such as global warming, third world sweatshops, big companies walking out on small towns for greener pastures elsewhere and nearly five million deaths each year from tobacco, are attacks on the public interest that show government does not always have the will to make corporations stop. Indeed, by granting corporate charters, governments in some sense authorize these attacks rather than making them cease.

If big corporations can keep government from fulfilling its purpose, we should understand why and then change one or the other–either give government more power to deal with corporations than it needs to deal with people or make the corporation more respectful of the public interest. Changing the corporation is the better choice.

The liberal democracy was designed more than 100 years before the creation of the modern corporation. It was not designed to govern large institutions dedicated to the pursuit of self-interest. This is why government has so much trouble governing corporations today.

Although companies only act through their people–directors, officers and employees–these people must obey a rule which government sets down for all corporations. That rule makes profit the corporation‘s only goal.

Many say this causes companies to put greed above the public interest, but this analysis only polarizes. What really happens is really more subtle than that. A company goes into a particular business and finds itself successful. Eventually, a huge amount of shareholders’ money is invested in the business–sometimes billions of dollars. Then, a hidden adverse side effect of the company’s products or operations is discovered.

The law provides that corporate personnel must react to this discovery in a way that protects the financial interests of the company. To do this, a number of strategies are employed to frustrate calls to make their behaviour illegal. The first of these strategies is usually denial. Eventually, however, the truth comes out and corporate personnel must employ other measures to protect their company’s assets. Usually these measures include trying to keep government from passing laws that would restrict the company’s ability to carry on business as usual.

It should come as no surprise that modern corporations are highly successful at this. The environment, human rights, the public health and safety and the welfare of our communities are all elements of the public interest that government should be able protect. Today, liberal democracies in all parts of the world are continually frustrated in fulfilling this purpose by a small minority of large corporations which make money through means that harm the public interest.

It is no secret how this happens. Companies use their right to free speech to lobby and finance the election campaigns of politicians. They threaten job loss and economic ruin if they are forced by new laws to change their ways. They crank up their public relations machines to entice people to vote against each other and the public interest. Their task is made easier in today’s globalized world where jobs in one state or country often create damage in another.

The inconvenient truth is that a system of government of the people, by the people and for the people is well down the road to becoming a government of the corporations, by the corporations and for the corporations. Ask yourself these question “do you believe governments can protect the public interest from today’s big corporations or not? Do governments control companies or do companies control government?”

Some despair that nothing can be done. But Al Gore makes a good point, there is a long way between denial of the problem and despair that it cannot be solved.

A system of government designed to protect both the public interest and freedom cannot cope with powerful institutions dedicated to the furtherance of their own interests. We shouldn’t expect it to do what it was never designed to. However, rather than deny or despair, we should recognize another not so inconvenient truth–profits and protection of the public interest need not be mutually exclusive.

The rules establishing corporations can be changed. Profit should remain the goal, but its pursuit should not come at the expense of the environment, human rights, the public health and safety or the welfare of our communities. Making this change will give people at work the flexibility to respect the public interest that today is missing. When it is made, the modern corporation will be more compatible with our system of government and the public interest under a lot less threat.

O'Reilly Mafia Threatens O'Donnell Over Sex Scandal

Fox News bully promises to "go after" The View host and her colleagues

Monday, April 2, 2007

Rosie O'Donnell, currently under attack after she questioned the official story behind 9/11, has revealed that Fox News bully Bill O'Reilly threatened to "go after" her and her colleagues after they mentioned O'Reilly's sex scandal on The View.
ABC has now gagged O'Donnell from mentioning the subject on all future broadcasts.
The policy of mafia-like intimidation directed at anyone who discusses 9/11 truth on behalf of O'Reilly is a common and disturbing theme.
Within the past two weeks, O'Reilly has threatened both Charlie Sheen and Mark Cuban that he'll be "looking out" for them if they continued their involvement in the upcoming release of the Loose Change Final Cut movie. On his Friday show, O'Reilly demanded Cuban, the billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks, be thrown in jail.
In October of last year, O'Reilly threatened Jim Fetzer and Kevin Barrett that he would use his influence to push for an FBI investigation of the 9/11 truth professors, in an attempt to discover if they had links with terrorists.
"I'd put the FBI on you and that nutty Barrett and find out what the hell you guys are up to," salivated O'Reilly, making reference to Sammy Al-Arian, a former professor at USF who was charged and later acquitted of helping to lead a Palestinian terrorist group that carried out suicide bombings against Israel.
During a September 2001 interview before his arrest, O'Reilly told Al-Arian, "if I was the CIA, I'd follow you wherever you went. I'd follow you 24 hours."
As Kurt Nimmo writes, "Bill O'Reilly essentially had Dr. Sami al-Arian, an associate professor of computer engineering at the University of South Florida, not only bounced from his job but also arrested and indicted by the Justice Department on racketeering and terrorist charges due to his alleged association with Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Ashcroft went as far as to characterize al-Arian as "the North American leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad."
In March of 2006, O'Reilly threatened disagreeing callers to his own radio show that their information would be turned over to law enforcement and that they would receive a visit from Fox security personnel. One such caller was actually contacted by Fox security after he mentioned Keith Olbermann on O'Reilly's show, an action classified by O'Reilly as obscene.
"If you're listening, Mike, we have your phone number, and we're going to turn it over to Fox security, and you'll be getting a little visit," barked O'Reilly.

In October 2004, O'Reilly Factor producer Andrea Mackris filed a lawsuit in which it was alleged that O'Reilly had subjected her to repeated instances of sexual harassment, including unwanted invitations to engage in phone sex and unsolicited graphic descriptions of O'Reilly's sexual fantasies, as well as O'Reilly masturbating on the phone following an O'Reilly Factor episode in which two porn stars were featured. O'Reilly is married with two children.
Out of court settlements were reached in both Mackris' and O'Reilly's counter-lawsuit. The whole sordid affair can be read here.
O'Reilly has written five non-fiction books, one of which includes graphic scenes of sex and violence, including teenagers having sex with adults. The ending of O'Reilly's detective thriller, Those Who Trespass, features a shower scene that is almost identical to the one described by Mackris in her lawsuit.
Bill O'Reilly has repeatedly called for Rosie O'Donnell to be fired by ABC for questioning the official 9/11 story as well as other controversial statements. On Thursday night, MSNBC guest Danny Bonaduce called for O'Donnell to be executed for treason.
"When Joy and I alluded to O'Reilly's sex scandal on The View," writes O'Donnell on her blog, "we were told the following day that we couldn't bring it up anymore or else Bill O'Reilly would "go after" all the hosts of The View."
O'Donnell goes on to write that O'Reilly carefully edited her statements in his end of week attack on her for discussing the Iranian hostage crisis and 9/11, "molding the facts" like 1984 in an attempt to appease Fox News owner "Big Brother" Rupert Murdoch.
O'Donnell quotes a passage from George Orwell's 1984.
"Parsons was Winston’s fellow employee at the Ministry of Truth. He was a fattish but active man of paralyzing stupidity, a mass of imbecile enthusiasms—one of those completely unquestioning, devoted drudges on whom, more even than on the thought police, the stability of the Party depended."
The View host warns America that they must question authority before it's too late, and that by 2050 no human being will be able to understand a conversation that requires thought on behalf of the individual.
"The whole climate of thought will be different. In fact, there will be no thought, as we understand it now. Orthodoxy means not thinking—not needing to think. Orthodoxy is unconsciousness," writes O'Donnell.
O'Reilly's methods are disgraceful and are intended to create a chilling atmosphere to prevent more high profile figures from going public in support of 9/11 truth. But O'Reilly's arrogance is rivaled only by his delusion, ratings for his Fox show continue to plummet, while The View has gained 600,000 new viewers since O'Donnell took the helm.
Telling the truth resonates with the American public - threatening people with consequences unless they shut up does not.
Bill O'Reilly is sowing the seeds of his own downfall as more people every day begin to see through his tenuous facade as a fatuous cheerleader for the Neo-Cons and the Bush administration

Death Of A Salesman: Circuit City Cuts 3,400 'Overpaid' Workers

Assassinated Press Staff Writer

While French workers bask on the beaches of St. Tropez or Nice, Circuit City, the US consumer electronics retailer, cut about 8 per cent of its US store staff and may or may not replace them with cheaper hires in a move that underlines the tensions facing US retailers as they struggle to keep their executive compensation at obscene levels.

Land Of Opportunists

03/30/07 "Assassinated Press" -- - - “I hope their families got some of that subsidized Hugo Chavez heating oil. Looks like they's gonna need it,” laughed Circuit City CEO Philip J. Schoonover. “But shit, we sure got the Great American Bald Lemming cowed. K-Rist! Our managers told them they was fired and the little fuckers just took off their smocks, lined up, put their heads down and filed right on out the fuckin’ store.”

Outside Army recruiters were picking off the dazed and soon to be destitute newly unemployed like the Hurok picking off salmon at the mouth of the Klamath. “Blow me for a five spot. Love me long time Ready for buzz saw Iraq, soldier. Ready for ‘Despah-wation Eye-Wacki Fweedumb.’,” a burly recruiter imitating Elmer Fudd taunted.

Nothing Personal, But Don’t Let The Door Hit You In Your Ass On The Way Out

The company said the dismissals had nothing to do with performance but were part of a larger effort to improve the bottom line. The firings represent about 9 percent of the company's in-store workforce of 40,000.

"Retail is very competitive and our executive team just isn’t up to the task, so we gotta cut somewhere," said Jim Babb, a Circuit City spokesman. "We deeply regret the negative impact that was had on these folks. It’s no fault of theirs that mongoloids run this company. But as long as the American worker will take this shit, we’ll fuckin’ keep dishing it out."

The company gave the dismissed workers severance pay and told them that after 10 weeks they were free to apply for any openings at there old starting wage they received right out of high school. Employees reached by a reporter said they were notified yesterday morning and told to leave immediately.

The employees were also told that their group dental program which is paid for by the employees had been looted by company executives and that employees should leave all of their bridge, braces and retainers in a pile in aisle 7. “Like I said. If the workers want to eat shit, we’ll pile it on for them,” Babb told the Assassinated Press.

Ditto the eye plan so a mound of eye glasses, contact lenses and cornea transplants stood just inside the rear exit.

The firings, along with several other moves, are expected to put $110 million in fiscal year 2008 and $140 million a year starting in fiscal 2009 into the pockets of the CEO, the board, massage parlors, judges, lobbyists, sports betting, Congress, green fees, the Executive Branch and major stockholders. Circuit City said sales would be volatile for the next several months as the company tries to identify employees who know how to open the stores and run the registers.

"It's definitely going to have some cost-savings, but I think the bigger impact could be seen is that all important weaker service which the modern corporation counts on to frustrate consumers trying to return inferior GATT and NAFTA manufactured products produced using international slave labor and as a consequence aren’t worth shit," said Timothy Allen, an analyst with Jefferies & Co. "I have a feeling the people they're letting go have probably been there longer, have more experience, more product knowledge, stuff that should help them to survive on the streets."

Steven Rash, 24, said he was one of 11 workers fired at a Circuit City in Asheville, N.C. The store manager broke the news during a meeting at 8:15 a.m. and they were escorted out of the store. Rash said he has worked for the retailer for seven years yet was one of the most junior members of the affected group.

He said he earned the outrageous sum of $11.59 an hour and worked from 15 to 20 hours a week. He received four weeks of severance pay. Though he has a full-time job at Bank of America, he said he needs to find part-time work to help pay his student loans. "It's not just a part-time job," he said. "It's about paying the bills."

“According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average hourly wage for retail salespeople was $11.14 in May 2005, the latest data available, and that little shit rash was earning 45 cents more an hour,” said Babb. “It’s obvious why we had to let him go. Fuck. It’ll take hundreds of that little fucks salary just to pay for Schoonover’s annual ‘get rid of the body of the raped and murdered waiter live skit’ at the Bohemian Grove this year.”

In comparison to Rash, Circuit City chief executive Philip J. Schoonover received a salary of $716,346, along with a $704,700 bonus last year. He also has long-term compensation of $3 million in stock awards and $340,000 in underlying options, according to company filings, barely enough to pay his green fees and club privileges at six world class country clubs.

Capitalist Realism

Circuit City also said it would outsource its information technology infrastructure operations to IBMs new branch in India, affecting 130 workers at Circuit City headquarters in Richmond. “We hope our actions won’t effect the high homicide rate in Richmond. Our ex-employees are good people. We feel confident that our personnel profiling weeded out any loose cannons before we hired them and only left us with the docile little freaks we let go today,” Schoonover told the board. “There ain’t no Alexander Berkmans anymore. American culture is designed to weed out people with character. All the Capitalist Realism in advertising and the movies.” About 50 people will be offered the opportunity to transfer to jobs at IBM Bombay, while the remainder will be let go after the transition is completed. Babb said he expected it would take several months.

Wackadoo, Wackadoo

And the company said it is exploring "strategic alternatives" for InterTan, an arm of its Canadian division that services tanning salons along the Polar Ice cap, including sale of the operation to a consortium of Emperor penguins. Last month, the retailer shut down distribution centers in Cape Stallworthy, Flat Creek, Yellow Snow, Eurka, Nuuk and Kangerlyssvaq and closed 55 international stores; it plans to shut down seven more in the United States.

The executives at the nation's second-largest electronics can’t compete with rival Best Buy and still get in 18 holes a day. And Wal-Mart has made an aggressive push into electronics as it retails components from mines left over from the U.S. Invasion of South East Asia swept up by DynCorps and wholesaled on international commodities markets and church swap meets. Wal Mart has also resumed smuggling immigrants across the Mexican border in body bags supplied by the CIA to the Guatemalan White Hand and the Salvadoran Treasury Police during the Reagan and Bush Senior eras. The three companies fought over the near dead bodies of their underpaid employee during the holiday season, slashing prices on flat-panel televisions, which hurt Circuit City's profit. “If our employees could only realize how lucky they are. They don’t know that if they were Guatemalan and worked for us, they’d probably be dead already,” Schoonover told the Assassinated Press.

Death Of A Salesman

The company, whose execs have been business failures for years, saved $130 million in 2003 by eliminating commissions for salespeople, instituting hourly rates and terminating 1,800 jobs.

Jose Macias, 27, of San Diego said he barely survived that round of cuts. His salary translated to $17.70 per hour, and employees who made more than $18 per hour were fired. But this time, he was not as lucky. He and four others at his store were let go yesterday, including one who had worked at Circuit City for 12 years.

"We had a feeling," Macias said. "There were a lot of rumors going around."

Macias said he was told employees who were paid more than 51 cents above a set pay range for their departments were fired. The cap on his full-time job in the computer department was $15.50 an hour. Mascia said he earned $18.72 an hour.

So Where’s Your Fuckin' Union, Tough Guy?

"I'm ticked off that they can just come at you from one day to another, no warning, and oh, you're gone," he said. "I dedicated seven years to them. Loyalty gets you nothing."

Stocks Up!

Shares closed yesterday at $19.23, up 31 cents, or 2 percent.

Poison DUst

Poison DUst tells the story of young soldiers who thought they came home safely from the war, but didn't. Of a veteran's young daughter whose birth defect is strikingly similar to birth defects suffered by many Iraqi children. Of thousands of young vets who are suffering from the symptoms of uranium poisoning, and the thousands more who are likely to find themselves with these ailments in the years to come. Of a government unwilling to admit there might be a problem here. Filmmaker Sue Harris skillfully weaves the stories of these young veterans with scientific explanations of the nature of "DU" and its dangers, including interviews with former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark, New York Daily News reporter Juan Gonzalez, noted physicist Michio Kaku, Dr. Rosalie Bertell, Dr. Helen Caldicott and Major Doug Rokke- the former U.S. Army DU Project head.

Every American who cares about our troops should watch this film. Everyone who cares about the innocent civilians who live in the countries where these weapons are used should watch this film. And everyone who cares about the hatred of Americans that may result from the effects of our government's actions in using these weapons, should watch this film. Is there a cover-up?
